Founded in 1541, Morelia is a great place to relax and wander around. Little change has been made since the city since it was founded and the downtown core has been pronounced a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to the well-preserved buildings. Taking a walk around the Plaza de Armas is extremely rewarding as you view the various statues, fountains and gardens which make up one of the most beautiful cityscapes in Mexico.
