The Networks advise that you may have to wait 24 hours before your sim card is active when purchasing on arrival.

Incoming calls are FREE of charge whilst in South Africa with a Vodacom South African SIM card. They are also FREE within the USA whilst using a T-Mobile SIM card, they will also be free in Canada and Mexico if the Super Sized Plan has been purchased. Whilst in Europe incoming calls will be free within the UK as well as the full list of 50 ROAM FREE countries in Europe.

Should you wish to collect your SIM card in South Africa at our conveniently located stores a minimum of 3-days lead time is needed for your order. Should you opt to have your SIM card delivered, in order to ensure that you are not disappointed by a missed delivery we do require that your SIM card is ordered at least 10 business days before the expectant delivery date of the SIM card. It may arrive sooner than the 10 business days however we would rather be safe.

Yes, you can. For the USA you can add additional airtime, data, and international credits on T-Mobile’s website in the US as well as any T-Mobile stores, and most convenience stores. For UK/Europe the best way is to download the My Vodafone App whereby you can keep an eye on your balances and top up as required. For South Africa, you can visit any Vodacom Shop or convenience store or you can register on My Vodacom where you can check balances as well as top up as needed.

You will receive an envelope that has your activated SIM along with basic instructions and support contact details included. We also include a SIM tray pin so you can open the SIM tray in order to insert your SIM card.

Your mobile phone or Tablet should automatically update the settings (also referred to as the APN settings). However, if they do not update automatically, we have provided a handy instruction sheet with your SIM card to guide you through this or you can visit any T-Mobile store and they can set it up, it just takes a few minutes.
